Paradise Helicopters Legacy Forest
Paradise Helicopters has been committed to Hawaii’s conservation since we launched with one helicopter in Hilo in 1997 – we now offer tours out of Kona, Hilo, Lanai, Turtle Bay Resort (Oahu) and Ko Olina (Oahu) with a fleet of eleven helicopters, in addition to our contracts with conservation organizations and federal agencies, this new tour in partnership with Hawaiian Legacy Tours is a natural evolution of our ongoing efforts to provide guests the opportunity to experience Hawaii’s unique natural wonders in an environmentally sustainable way.
͞"The ability to offer carbon-neutral flights provides us a means to bring awareness to environmental concerns and can help guests recognize the impact of civilization on our native forests," said Calvin Dorn, chief executive officer of Paradise Helicopters, which was founded in Hawaii nearly 20 years ago." Legacy Carbon allows us to be a positive tool in forest tours, education and rehabilitation, especially in remote areas, while also offsetting the environmental impact of those operations."
