Stewards of Kamananui (Moanalua) Valley for over 40 years, Moanalua Gardens Foundation (MGF) is proud to join with Hawaiian Legacy Hardwoods (HLH) to preserve and protect our precious ‘āina through restoration of our native forests. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, MGF is committed “to preserving and perpetuating our native culture, environment and people of Hawai‘i through education, celebration and stewardship of Kamamanui (Moanalua) Valley and Moanalua Gardens.”
The only undeveloped valley in urban Honolulu, MGF needs your help in restoring this ancient wahi pana (sacred place) where Kamemehameha the Great rested his warriors after the battle of Nu‘uanu. For each Legacy Tree that you sponsor, $20 will go to MGF to help improve Kamananui (Moanalua) Valley and educate our youth about responsible stewardship practices through MGF’s Huaka`i o Kamananui, Aloha ‘Āina Moanalua program. With your kōkua, up to 300 keiki will benefit each year.
Your sponsorship will mean a world of difference to our environment and our keiki and assist MGF in its critical work to restore Kamananui (Moanalua) Valley, one of Hawai‘i’s natural treasures. Help us protect and preserve our fragile ‘āina and raise a new generation of environmental stewards. Simply complete this form and send it to Moanalua Gardens Foundation. Mahalo a nui loa!
