Raise $20 per Tree
The Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation
Initiative fundraiser program is
designed to benefit your group while
you help restore Hawaii’s ecosystems.
It’s a unique model. By finding
sponsors for Koa Legacy Trees,
you help restore the islands and raise
funds for your cause.
Planting 1.3 Million Trees
Each Koa Legacy Tree sponsorship
costs $60. For every tree that your
organization finds sponsors for, your
organization receives $20 per tree.
Additionally, we donate $1 to the
Hawaiian Islands Land Trust for
each Legacy Tree. The remaining
$39 covers the cost of germinating,
planting, and RFID tagging the tree.
We’ll provide you with everything
you need to get started. You’ll receive
brochures, order forms,
gift cards to give to sponsors at the
time of purchase, and a web page.
Following the planting, you’ll receive
Certificates of Planting with
the GPS coordinates and RFID
tag number of each tree sponsored
to distribute to your sponsors the
planet!
