American Diabetes Association
Through the Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) is partnering with Hawaiian Legacy Hardwoods to restore 1000 acres of historic koa forest on the Hamakua Coast of Hawaii Island. Please help replenish Hawaii’s legendary environment while fostering the Association’s reach to the over 113,000 people with diabetes in Hawaii and the more than 363,000 individuals with prediabetes. For each Legacy Tree that you sponsor, $30 will be allocated to advance diabetes education and support programs for children and families, promote diabetes awareness to corporate and community health partners, and provide the latest advancements in the standards of care for medical professionals. We want to find a cure, and with your help, we will be able to increase funding for diabetes research and activities to end discrimination faced by individuals with diabetes. We appreciate your generosity and support as we steward our mission to prevent and cure diabetes and improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
